Orange sells 30,000 iPhones

Orange who is the newest carrier in the UK to begin selling the iPhone has reported sales of 30,000 iPhones in the first day. The iPhone has been in sale on O2 network for 2 years, it is over whelming to see that after 2 years of the phone being out people are stilling jumping at the change to get one. Apple said last month that they were just now catching up with the demand for the 3GS and I guess its apparent that the demand is still there. Is this a hint as what is to come in the future of the iPhone in the US?
On another note the Moto Droid is reported as selling 100,000 in its launch weekend.

Steve Jobs CEO of the Decade

Fortune Magazine has named Steve Jobs CEO of the decade.
Youthful founder gets booted from his company in the 1980s, returns in the 1990s, and in the following decade survives two brushes with death, one securities-law scandal, an also-ran product lineup, and his own often unpleasant demeanor to become the dominant personality in four distinct industries, a billionaire many times over, and CEO of the most valuable company in Silicon Valley.
Congrats to Steve and Apple for all their accomplishments in this past decade. Where would we all be with out the iPod?

iPhone to get FM tuners?

Rumor around the net is that Apple is planning on launching a radio app for the iPhone 3gs and the 2nd and 3rd generation iPod Touch. There are talks that they will release an app through. The radio would be able to do song tagging; which if you like a song you can find out who sings it, the name of the song and album. It will also allow direct downloads from iTunes. This is would be a nice feature to add to iPhone to make it that much better, but I for one would never use it but it may be nice to have.
