
While I have had Apples newest released OS, Snow Leopard, for a couple weeks now I just found a cool new feature. If you hold down the: option> key and click on the upper right airport icon it will display information about the network your connected too. Same goes for the volume control and battery status. This is useful cause you dont have to go into system preference to change those settings. Let me know in the comments about any other features you may have discovered in Snow Leopard.
The other day at work a guy asked me a question that I never really thought about so I decided that I was going to try it out for myself. I was talking to him about the iPhone and how you can use Wi-FI to increase reception in some places where reception is weaker. He then asked me,” What happens when your on a phone call connected to Wi-Fi and then you leave the Wi-Fi area does the call get dropped switching from Wi-Fi to 3g?” I honestly never thought abut it, I know people who have T-Mobile and use Curve 8320 , which have Wi-Fi but get dropped calls when they switch over to Edge but I can’t think of a time that I have done this with my iPhone.
